No meetup in January due to venue issues, we’re still working on securing our long-term venue for 2020.
Call for Sponsors
WordPress Adelaide has lost its ‘Free’ venue at The West Oak Hotel, and we are in the process of securing another venue that we believe will be more suitable and accessible for what we do.
Unfortunately this means the costs for running the meetup will be rising, and as such we are seeking additional sponsors.

We currently have approx. $2k of annual sponsorship, which is close (but not quite) covering venue costs. Our goal is to bring in another $4,000 (approx) for the 2020 year, which would enable us to reach the following goals.
- Host monthly meetups at our new venue
- Provide a small offering of snacks and drinks to attendees
- Get some better signage made for the meetups
- (stretch goal) Host both User and Developer Meetups monthly
Until further sponsors can be found we will have to cut back on supplying drinks and food at the meetups, we’re sorry but we hope you understand.
